Can you believe it, for the second year in a row the ice fishing season has started before Christmas. So how much do we have? Eight inches, that is twice the amount that we had last year at this time.
So for the next two weeks, I will be spending time in quite solitude in my little green ice fishing hut. Nothing could be better!

Ever come eye to eye with a Northern? This was the view from my underwater video camera. And no, I did not catch him. He was more interested in the camera then my lure.

Karin and Trevor are here and we are waiting to take the Miesfeld's ham out of the oven for Christmas dinner. Sure would like to taste those bluegills and that pic of a northern is quite intimidating!
