The Week Before Christmas

So what shows up looking for food in the back yard, but the resident Hawk. He doesn't like the bird feeder but he sure likes the little birds that it attracks and the squirrals that try to clean up the seeds on the ground.

Oh, the days of snow. This is what we looked like last year at this time. So I thought I would post some old photo's to at least make it look like Christmas.

And the blue door. Will that is a whole nother story. As Kim puts it, its a Ted thing!

WE HAVE ICE!!!!

This is a first, ice fishing started this past weekend December 9th! I could not be happier nor is Kim to get me out of the house. Since we have no snow and he ice formed slow, you can see some of the bubbles that are trapped in the ice. Not something everyone see's so here are some photo's of it. And yes, the fish are bitting.

Hard to belive it, but I do wear something other then jeans and a tee shirt. So if you want to see the photo's of Kim's Christmas part, follow the link.

Christmas Tree

What a Gold Tree? That's right, this year Kim decided it was time to do an all gold tree. So with a trip to Ikea and some old gold ornaments, Kim got what she wanted and you know it looks kind of cool.

So let the Christmas party schedule start! One down and three more to go.

With the lakes freezing up, could ice fishing be at hand this weekend or next?
