The Last Week In April

The last week in April and it is starting to look and smell like Spring around here. Winter still wants to show up also now an then. My Hosta's have frozen twice, some of the trees have lost there buds, and it was sleeting on Saturday. Now that's Spring in Minnesota. I have updated my SmugMug site with new photo's, take a look. This week I thought I would post some birds of Florida, that we came across.

Hockey in Florida

It's that time of year again, for the NCAA Frozen Four Hockey Tournament. This year the games were held in Tampa FL, something that everyone has been waiting for, for the last five years since they announced the Tampa location. For the past 15 years that Kim and I have been going to this event, it has snowed at least one day of the tournament. Not this year! 85 and sunny. But the trip was not all hockey, we started the trip in Jacksonville and worked are way across the flat state of Florida to Tampa. Along the way stopped at 4 National Parks, 3 National Monuments, 2, National Wildlife Refuges, 1 National Sea Shore, 1 National Memorial and 3 State Parks and 2 County Parks and we had time to sit by pool.
