Traditions

Everyone has them, and some are just starting them. A couple of our traditions when decorating the tree is before a single ornament can be placed on the Christmas tree, Kim places or attempts to put a red bow on the tree for the past 21 years. Keep watching as I will be digging up some of the early photos of this tradition.
Grilled Turkey, you bet! I can only remember one turkey that saw the inside of our oven at Thanksgiving. Don't ask me why, I think we did it for some reason. (Must has been a Martha Stewart thing.)

Now for a new tradition, this year thanks to globle warming, is spending the day after Thanksgiving on the bike listening to Christmas music. It was kind of differant, but why not. It's not often you can do that in Minnesota. Posted by Picasa

Back

So just when you thought you had seen everything. The other day when I was in southern Minnesota, I drove past this house and I could not belive what I saw! This house and yes people are living in it, has gaurd cows not gaurd dogs living on the front poarch!

Okay, this is a bit late...but, still fun. Kim's co-workers at the Breast Center entered the Pumpkin contest for Halloween at the hospital. Last year it was Susie Squash getting a mammogram and poor dear, she had breast cancer. So this year she had to have chemo therapy. Susie and the Breast Center Staff took third place. Not bad...stay tuned for next year, Susie may be running the Race for the Cure! Posted by Picasa
