Now this is a photo that not many have seen, it is your behind the scenes look at what goes on before entry day at the State Fair. The baking started early, about 7 AM and goes until we are done. This year we were cleaned up and a cocktail in hand by 6 PM! Not bad at all.How much did Kim bake on Saturday?

Two kinds of bars
One scone
One chiffon cake
One muffin
Plus, the twenty jams and jellies that were entered last weekend, plus the nine that get entered on Tuesday of this week.
Anyone care to guess on the number of ribbons Kim will get?
Go figure, it doesn't rain all summer but for the weekend you need to bake bread outside! Lets hope the rain brings good luck.
Even the fair wagon needed a rain coat.
