Pond Hockey

+4 degrees, -16 wind chill and Kim's got her coffee. One could not ask for a more perfect day to watch hockey in Minnesota.

24 rinks
220 teams
8 hours of playing time
Now who do you watch?
And yes it was outside.

But wait it did not stop there. For some reason we had tickets to the Minnesota Wild that night also.

So the day was like this, 8:30 am to 11 pm we watched hockey. But when you live in the state of hockey, you do hockey.

This was our team, The South Siders "Wells Fargo" Yes Korey, you could beat them. Posted by Picasa

I don't know about being able to beat the south siders. They look like a bunch of guys that can actually skate. What a great day of hockey you had.

Korey,
You could so compete at this! Talk to your hockey pals and get a team together! Could be fun. Kim

Not a chance! It is kind of nice having you think my friends and I can actually play hockey. Showing up for this would burst the bubble. However there has been talks about a Wild game next season with the frozen four heading west.
